Eastern Front or Bust!

During The Great War, The Eastern Front proved to be a bloody battleground, especially for The Allies. According to The War Times Journal web page, approximately 3 million men died in fighting and 9 million were wounded. The primary powers consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary and  Russia. The area was dominated by the central powers. Germany dominated this area with its superior arms and strategy. However, Russia provided significant competition with its vast numbers and decent firepower. Their main issue was moving their armies to the right places in time to combat Germany. Austria-Hungary's army was compiled mostly of Slavic recruits who still felt loyal to "Mother Russia" and were therefore not as effective as German troops. The result of this combination of powers resulted in mass carnage of Russia's troops.

There are a couple of main differences between the Eastern and Western Fronts. Firstly, The Eastern Front was much violent and destructive. Secondly, the Eastern front is lesser-known than the West. Both of these resulted from the lack of involvement of Western powers like Britain, France and America. Because the fighting was more balanced on the Western Front it was less bloody. (Although, stalemates did result in carnage as well.) Also, we know more about the Western Front because we are closely tied with the countries and people who were involved in this side of the first world war.

I think it's pretty clear that if my life were any movie (which is not possible because how can you express all of this in 2 hours?) it would be

FROZEN.

How does Frozen represent me?
Well, first of all Frozen is a Disney movie. This represents my childhood because I absolutely love Disney movies. You know that amazing Disney magic that no one else manages to capture? That is my life.

Secondly, Frozen has a strong emphasis on family and sisterhood which are very important to me. I have a close relationship with my older sister that closely mirrors Anna's relationship with her sister, Elsa. I feel Anna's position because as a younger sister, I constantly attempt to introduce some fun back into my serious, college-bound sibling's life.

Finally, Frozen is a musical. My life is a musical. Literally. I like to sing and dance (though not well...) The songs in this film pretty much sum up my story .
